Does Your Company Have a Cloud Policy in Place?
Is your company secure in the cloud? According to JB Knowledge’s 4th Annual Construction Technology Report, it may not be. Less than half of the companies surveyed train their employees when it comes to the cloud, while a whopping 20% of employees don’t even know if their company has cloud security policies in place. This is alarming for a number of reasons, not least of which is the vunerable state your data is left in, and is indicative of a larger problem: an understaffed I/T department. While budgetary constraints can certainly make it difficult to operate a functional I/T department, consider the cost to your company if your data were to be lost or stolen. An investment in technology today is an investment in your company’s future.
